About Me

Who am I?

So, my name is Will and I would consider myself to be a watch enthusiast who is living in the North West of England, in Cumbria. I have always enjoyed watches throughout my life, however, it wasn't until a few years ago when I bought my first luxury watch and caught the bug for it. Since then, my interest in watches and horology has peaked and I found myself spending an absurd amount of my days looking into potential dream watches, new-to-me microbrands and all round interesting pieces.

Why did I create Time Prize?

There was a few contributing factors into setting up Time Prize; I get a lot of advertisements for watch competitions on my social media which always used to tempt me until I went on the website to see the same old Submariner after trying to locate it through hundreds of other prizes of cars, clothes and bikes. Now don't get me wrong, I would have loved to win a Rolex Submariner for 99p but I thought that I would much prefer the chance to win a variety of watches a true watch enthusiast has chosen. For more personal reasons, I loved the idea that Time Prize would allow me to scratch the itch of researching and buying watches but also benefitting others by giving them away at the price of a coffee!
